Spend your money here!

I'm a loyalist! What?.. I am a loyalist, particularly to this area. This is me shopping at a local store in Pike county. Everyone is worried about the economy yet it seems to me, in this area..it's not that bad. I mean correct me if I'm wrong, but if we shop here and keep our money in the county it's only going to help things, and if by me spending my hard earned money here helps this area's economy flourish you best believe I'm going to do it, and I would like to encourage you to do the same! Don't spend your money elsewhere spend it here! There's plenty of places to shop, keep your money here, and you will reap the benefits...Promise!

Happy Valentines Day...I guess....

So Valentines Day didn't exactly turn out like I had anticipated, actually this was my first Valentines Day single, no flowers sent to work, no dinner plans, no cuddling and watching movies, NOTHING! And I was disappointed so severely by someone that was suppose to care about me just a few days before Valentines Day that I really wasn't even in the spirit of the lovers holiday.

After whining around the house all day Friday and barely getting out of bed on Saturday I decided that Sunday I would go see my parents! After all my dad is the only man in my life that's NEVER let me down. When I showed up at mom and dads...THAT BASKET was sitting on the table waiting on me. It was so beautiful, inside was a delicious smelling candle, chocolates, gourmet popcorn, pretzels, and COFFEE! They know how much I love coffee! My baby nephew was there (Charlie) whom I never get to see, and Palin was there too, my other nephew who always brightens my day.

I guess what I am trying to say is when you feel like you have nobody, you can almost always turn to your family! Thursday-Saturday I felt nearly friendless with the exception of (Ashley) and practically hated the male species, but after my trip back home, I left with a smile on my face and a heart that seemed to feel a little less broken. My family always saves me!

I NEED YOUR HELP!

The American Red Cross does so much that we are not aware of. Did you know that every time someones house burns down, The American Red Cross puts the family in a hotel and gets them their essentials for as long as they can afford it. Unfortunate this winter, an over abundance of house fires have swept the area, breaking the bank; for The American Red Cross, and now that this ongoing winter weather has caused so much destruction the Red Cross is incredibly low on funds and now are struggling to help those without power, running water, etc...

East Kentucky Broadcasting will stop all programming on Wednesday at 5pm at that time we will take the air waves, with a radio-thon.. Many of us are volunteering our time to conduct this marathon in hopes of raising money to give directly to The American Red Cross. Please tune in to Z-Rock 107.5 and donate, and encourage others to do the same. At your place of business, spread the word, and possible take up a collection!

Lets show the world, that no matter what happens, small town's like ours will always pull through, be there for one another, and see the sunshine together when the clouds roll away.
